Both networks receive their highest ratings during their "Countdown to Christmas" period, with a succession of festive original films being broadcast from late October to late December. I most certainly did not expect some sort of light-hearted, romantic holiday fantasy film that was a fun mystery for the whole family. The base plot stays poor throughout, but the fact that Santa just lives in Alaska makes the movie go from “this is not very good” to “this is dumb”.There's clearly an alarming shortage of veterinarians in Alaska.
