Every lesson builds on the previous, moving students from self-doubt to empowerment.With empathy and purpose, our Mentors and Mentees grow together, shaping skills that help students transition to the next stages of education, work, and life. If you are currently a high school or college student with a learning disability (LD) or ADHD, you could be the difference in the life of a younger student who also has an LD/ADHD.Eye to Eye is a national mentoring program that pairs college and high school students with learning disabilities and/or ADHD with similarly-labeled middle school students.Each week, Mentors work with their mentee on projects designed to help the younger students embrace their learning differences and develop social-emotional skills that promote their academic and personal success, such as confidence, self-advocacy skills, and perseverance.As a Mentor, you will help to empower the students in your art room by creating a supportive community of mentors and peers who have shared experiences with learning differences in the classroom.
